End of Summer Celebration

Even though fall is upon us, the weather is still warm and we haven’t said farewell to summer just yet. Why not end the season with a celebration? Here are our suggestions to send summer out with a sparkle.

Summer Slideshow

Whether you invite friends and neighbors, or keep it just the family, putting on a slideshow of all your photographs from the past sunny months is a great way to reminisce about good times. Laughing over these past memories will pave the way for new memories from fall to come! Make some popcorn and snuggle up on the couch with the kids. It’s movie time — but tonight you’re the stars!

Final Summer Soiree

Have a final outdoor party with family and friends to share stories from travels and make plans for seasons to come. If weather permits have an outdoor dinner and try to focus on summer-time foods: farmers market veggies and BBQ. Or ask friends to bring their own favorite foods for a potluck style soiree.

Spend an Afternoon at the Shore

Have an afternoon picnic on the beach, collect seashells, build a sandcastle, and get a family photo at sunset. Maybe even leave the kids at home and enjoy a glass of wine while watching the sun go down. Have one last picture-perfect beach day before the air begins to chill and the days shorten.
